Sophomore Austen Jacks began his second season as a Tulane student-athlete with the beginning of fall classes.  Jacks played last season as a linebacker for the Green Wave and is making the transition to defensive end this season.

Senior Cody Sparks and the Green Wave reported to fall classes today and now must juggle a class schedule with afternoon classes.  Sparks and fellow senior Tyler Helm continue their battle for the starting tight end spot as the Green Wave heads into its season opener at home against Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday, Sept. 2.
