Tulane Youth Impact Videos

For the past couple of weeks, we’ve had the honor of hosting the Tulane Youth Impact Program in our own backyard. Here’s a few clips of what our campers have been up to.

A Call to Action

Attention Green Wave Fans!

We need your help!

One of the new features we have on tulanegreenwave.com is a “fan experience” page. We know (and hope!) that you enjoy your time at Tulane sporting events but we wanna hear about them! See, the thing of it is, is that our student-athletes aren’t the only ones we want to showcase. Yes, they do amazing things (multiple class loads on top of the athletics schedule of a student-athlete and maintaining good GPAs ain’t easy!) but we also think we have some pretty cool fans and we want to tout that too. We also know that our student-athletes enjoy seeing familiar faces in the stands and knowing that they have some people in their corner certainly doesn’t hurt either ;) so you guys deserve some love on our website for your role in the success of our student-athletes.

So. That being said, here’s your mission: we are aiming to collect all sorts of stories and pictures and whatnot of your Tulane experience. Pictures of you, your family or your friends at games and events, stories of the first time you took your son or daughter to an event, any interaction you have had with our student-athletes…all that good stuff…we wanna hear about it and share it with everyone.

We need your help to begin gathering these cool stories and we would like to put them on our website so we can show just exactly the kind of rockin’ atmosphere we have going. If you have a great Tulane story or fan experience, shoot us a note about it here.

If you have a picture of your family and friends in all your Green Wave glory, send me an email and don’t forget to include who is in the photo :)

We thank you for all your continued support and know that our student-athletes appreciate it too!

Boudreaux’s b-day party

Our Green Wave faithfuls may know all about our student-athletes and how they stay occupied in the summer, conditioning and what not, but they aren’t the only ones keepin’ busy! Riptide had a big weekend too…He was invited to Boudreaux’s birthday party at the Zephyr’s game on Sunday!

His favorite b-day party game was musical chairs (see below) during the second inning.

Also in attendance at the birthday bash were Hugo the Hornet of NBA fame, Gumbo, the Saints fan fave along with fellow “collegians” like Roomie, the Lion from Southeastern Louisiana and the Loyola Wolfpack was in the house, in addition to other mascot party-goers. Riptide sure knows how to have a good time during his “off” season!!
