Coach Conroy discusses his first few months at Tulane and the state of the Green Wave men’s basketball program.

David Booker, a member of the Green Wave men’s basketball team, is entering his final year at Tulane. The forward, from Moss Point, Miss. transferred to Tulane from Charlotte after his freshmen year. He has been a great attribute to the team, making an appearance in every game last season. Booker stopped by for a short Q&A session with the Tulane Athletics Communication staff to share a little about what the team is doing this summer to prepare for the 2010-2011 season, his experience at Tulane and in New Orleans and his plans for the future. According to his responses, it’s clear Booker has high expectations for the Wave’s men’s basketball team, he’s going to miss Tulane and he has a bright future to look forward to.

On Wednesday, April 7, Tulane Director of Athletics Rick Dickson formally introduced Ed Conroy as the 23rd head coach in the 99-year history of the Tulane men’s basketball program during a press conference at the James W. Wilson Jr. Center.
